Over center spring, removing and installing
Special tools and workshop equipment required





^ T40025 retaining clamp

Removing
- Remove driver's side tray:





- Tension over-center spring with clutch pedal and press on retaining clamp T40025.
- Bring clutch pedal to rest position and remove over-center spring downward together with retaining clamp T40025.

Installing
- Pull clutch pedal into the passenger compartment.
Installation position of over-center spring:
^ Black side of over-center spring faces clutch pedal.





- Install over-center spring with retaining clamp T40025, operate clutch pedal and remove retaining clamp.
