Seat Belt Latch: Service and Repair



Front Anchorage Point For Belt Buckle

- Remove seat.







- Remove bolt - 2 - from buckle - 1 -.
- Tightening torque 24 Nm
- For vehicles with "belt fastened" detector and belt buckle switch (only on drivers side, country-specific) remove wires from red connector housing.







- Use a screwdriver to pry out retaining hooks - 4 - of red connector housing - 1 -.
- Push red connector housing - 1 - through toward the rear.
- Wire pin - 6 - (2x) for "belt fastened" detector.







- Red connector housing - 1 - for belt buckle interrogation and main power supply.
- Release cable retainer - 2 - in direction of arrow by prying out at cut-out - 3 -.
- Illustration shows cable retainer - 2 - in released position.
- Remove wires - 4 - for "belt fastened" detector from terminals 5 and 6; on drivers side (country-specific) also remove wires - 4 - for belt buckle switch from terminals 1 and 2.
- Open cable ties.

- Installing
- Installation is in reverse order of removal.
