Read Measuring Value Block (Function 08)

Measured Value Block, Reading

Test requirements:
- Coolant temperature at least 80 degrees C.
- Electrical devices switched off (radiator fan must not run during the test).
- Air conditioning switched off.

Test sequence
- Connect vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051 and select vehicle system "01 - Engine electronics" in selection. Engine must be run at idle. Scan Tool Connecting

Display on VAS 5051:







- Under -1- select diagnostic function "08 - Read measured value block".

Display on VAS 5051:







1 - Enter display group
- Enter desired display group number (three figures) in zone -2- and confirm entry by pressing -Q- button.


NOTE: The choice of display group depends on the particular functions and components to be tested.

2 - Display zone 1
Display zone 2
Display zone 3
Display zone 4

NOTE:
- If no display follows, a display field is not assigned.
- To switch to a different display group, proceed as follows:


Display group VAS 5051 tester
Higher Press up-arrow button.
Lower Press low-arrow button.


- Press <- button to end function "08 - Read measuring value block".
