Refrigerant Lines On Evaporator Flange, Removing And Installing

Disconnecting

- Remove plenum cover.
- Discharge A/C refrigerant system







- Remove nuts -A- (tightening torque 25 Nm).
- Detach refrigerant lines from evaporator and seal off all open connections.

NOTE: To seal off all open connections on evaporator -D-, sealing caps from a replacement evaporator can be used (avoid dirt and moisture from entering the system).

Connecting
Installation is reverse of removal, noting the following:
- Replace O-Ring-seals -B- (16.7 mm x 2.4 mm) and -C- (10.8 mm x 1.8 mm).
- Install refrigerant lines free of stress.







- After tightening refrigerant lines make sure that grommet -E- and line grommet -F- is properly installed.
- Check position of refrigerant lines to evaporator, they should not come in contact with other components.
