A/C Coupler O-ring: Description and Operation

O-ring seals for refrigerant circuit

- Always replace.
- Lubricate with refrigerant oil before installing.
- Ensure seal fits properly on line or notch.
- Work in clean environment.

NOTE:
- Use only O-rings that are resistant to refrigerant R-134a and refrigerant oil. These O-rings are color-coded to avoid mistakes (currently red, light purple and dark purple).
- In addition to the color-coded O-rings, black O-rings are also used in production for certain connections.







- The O-ring dimension -a- and -b- are different depending on installation location.
