Recirculation Flap Motor -V113-, Removing And Installing


Removing
- Remove glove compartment.







- Disconnect connector -A-.
- Unscrew bolts -B-.
- Pull connection element -C-of positioning motor out of recirculated air flap shaft -D-

Installing

NOTE: The connecting element on the positioning motor is color coded, on Recirculation Flap Motor -V113- it is blue.

Install all removed parts in reverse order, observe the following while doing so:
- Install the wiring harness so that it cannot come in contact with any moving parts (e.g. the actuating arm of the positioning motor).
- Check DTC memory and erase DTC memory; initiate basic setting.
- The function of the positioning motor can be checked for example: Connect both terminals "5" and "6" in positioning motor connector to 12V (DC), the motor moves in one direction until stop, the direction of rotation changes by reversing B+ and Ground. Use adapter cable for this.
