Central Air Flap Motor -V70-, Removing and Installing




Central Air Flap Motor -V70-, Removing And Installing

Removing

- Remove glove compartment.







- Disconnect connector -A-.
- Unscrew bolts -B-.
- Remove positioning motor.

Installing

NOTE:
The curved washer on the positioning motor is color coded, the lever on Central Air Flap Motor -V70- is white.







- Place pins -A- and -B- in the groove -C- of curved washer

Install all removed parts in reverse order, observe the following while doing so:
- Install the wiring harness so that it cannot come in contact with any moving parts (e.g. the actuating arm of the positioning motor).
- Check DTC memory and erase DTC memory; initiate basic setting.
- The function of the positioning motor can be checked for example: Connect both terminals "5" and "6" in positioning motor connector to 12V (DC), the motor moves in one direction until stop, the direction of rotation changes by reversing B+ and Ground. Use adapter cable for this.
