Notes:
^ When carrying out repairs install all parts supplied in repair kit.
^ Apply thin coat of paste G 052 150 A2 to brake cylinders, pistons and seals.
1. Self-locking bolt, 35 Nm
^ Always replace
^ When loosening and tightening counter hold on guide pin
2. Brake caliper housing with lever for parking brake cable
^ Renew the brake caliper housing if there is a leak at the lever for the parking brake cable
^ After servicing pre-bleed brake caliper housing
3. Vent valve
4. Dust cap
^ Install onto bleed valve
5. Sealing ring
^ Removing and installing, Refer to Rear Brake Caliper Piston, Removing and Installing
6. Piston with automatic adjustment
^ Removing and installing, Refer to Rear Brake Caliper Piston, Removing and Installing
7. Guide pin
^ Grease before installing protective cap
8. Protective cap
^ Removing and installing, Refer to Rear Brake Caliper Piston, Removing and Installing
^ Pull outer sealing lip onto piston
9. Protective cap
^ Pull onto brake carrier and guide pin
10. Brake carrier with guide pin and protective cap
^ Supplied as replacement part assembled with sufficient quantities of grease on guide pins
^ If protective caps or guide pins are damaged, install repair kit. Use grease sachet supplied to lubricate the guide pins.
