High Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

High Pressure Sensor -G65-, Removing And Installing

The pressure sensor produces a triangular signal when current is applied. This signal changes according to the pressure in the system. The signal is used by the connected control modules (coolant fan control module, engine control module) to control the pressure in the refrigerant circuit and accordingly controls the cooling fan and the engine.

- Remove front bumper.

- Disconnect connector -B-.
- Remove High Pressure Sensor -G65-
Tightening torque: 5 Nm.
