Tailgate Contact Switch, Removing and Installing

Removing
- Remove tailgate lock.
- Pull off connector.





- With tailgate lock -1- removed, use a flat - tipped screwdriver to release plastic tab -3- at the two rivets -4-.
- Press lever -2- in direction indicated (arrow) and pull back plastic tab -3-.





- Carefully remove contact switch -3- from tailgate lock -1-.

Installing
- Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence.
