Servotronic Solenoid Valve Wiring, Checking
CHECKING FOR SHORT CIRCUIT TO GROUNDNOTE: The Servotronic control module is installed under the rear seat on the right side.
- Remove rear seat bench.
- Disconnect harness connector from Servotronic control module.
- Set digital multimeter (Fluke 83 or equivalent) to measure resistance (ohms) and check for short circuit to Ground at Servotronic control module harness connector:
Terminals 2 and 11
Terminals 3 and 11
Terminals 2 and 8 -or- terminals 3 and 8
Specification: infinity.
- If resistance is not as specified:
- Check for short circuit in wiring, according to wiring diagram, and repair as necessary.
CHECK FOR SHORT CIRCUIT BETWEEN WIRES
NOTE: The Servotronic control module is installed under the rear seat on the right side.
- Remove rear seat bench.
- Disconnect harness connector from Servotronic control module.
- Set digital multimeter (Fluke 83 or equivalent) to measure resistance (ohms) and check for short circuit at Servotronic control module harness connector:
Terminals 7 and 8 -or- terminals 7 and 11
Specification: Infinity.
- If resistance is not as specified:
- Check for short circuit in wiring, according to wiring diagram, and repair as necessary.
