Sunroof / Moonroof Track: Service and Repair

- Remove molded headliner before disassembling link guide. Service and Repair
- Remove sunroof motor.
- Remove drain hoses from frame.







- Remove hex nuts -1- and frame.
- When installing, tighten nuts to 8 Nm (71 in. lb) starting at front center.







- Pry off cap -1- from guide track -2- and pull of toward back in direction of arrow.
- Unscrew stop at rear of guide track.







- Pull guide hook -1- as well as front and rear guides with cable and link guide -2- off toward back.


NOTE: Always replace guides and cable as a pair.


- Push new link guide to "zero" position in frame.
