With VAG 1551 Scan Tool

1. Refer to Accessing Diagnostic Output. Initializing Diagnostic Output
2. Select scan tool function 05, Erase DTC Memory

3. Press buttons -0- and -5- to select "Erase DTC Memory" function 05.

4. Press -Q- button to confirm input.

5. Press (arrow) button.
- If testing is completed, end output and disconnect from the diagnostic system. End Output

NOTE:





Indicated on display

^ DTC memory can be erased only after it has been checked.
^ If, for example, the ignition is switched off or the vehicle is driven at more than 20 km/h (12 mph) between checking and erasing DTC memory, it must be checked again before it can be erased.
