With VAG 1551 Scan Tool

Check DTC Memory (Scan Tool Function 02)

NOTE: Connect scan tool then Initialize tester. Initializing Diagnostic Output





Indicated on display

1. Press buttons -0- and -2- to select "Check DTC Memory" function 02.

2. Press -Q- button to confirm input.





Indicated on display
- Number of stored DTCs, or "No DTC recognized"

3. Press (arrow) button.
- Diagnostic trouble codes stored in DTC memory are displayed and printed one after another, refer to the appropriate DTC table. Brakes and Traction Control
- After the last DTC has been displayed, press (arrow) button.

NOTE:
^ If a malfunction (one or more) has been recognized:
- Select "End Output" function 06. End Output
- Switch ignition off and repair malfunction.
- Check DTC memory again and erase.
^ If there is a system malfunction that is not identified by OBD, troubleshoot using VAG 1710 ABS tester. Electrical Testing
