Instrument panel center section, removing




- Remove climate control knobs (3x).
On vehicles with automatic climate control, remove controls.
- Remove trim plate.
- When installing, insert engaging hooks behind housing edge




Removing left and right vent inserts.
- Angled wire is well suited for this purpose
- Dimension -a-: 3-4 mm (approx. 1/8 in.)
- Guide angled wire through vent insert at upper left or right of center section, hook behind edge of vent insert and pull out vent insert.



- Remove Phillips-head screws (arrows).



- Remove screws as shown and remove instrument panel center section.
- Disconnect harness connectors from switches and radio.
