Bowden Cables at Heater Box

Identifying:





A - From footwell/defroster flap to air distribution control knob
Retainer color: white
B - From central flap to air distribution control knob
Retainer color: black
D - From temperature flap to temperature control knob
Retainer color: red

Removing:




- Remove Bowden cable retainer (large arrow).
- Carefully press Bowden cable end off of lever arm.

Inspecting:
- Inspect Bowden cable condition/function.
- Replace if damaged or sticking.

Installing:
- Install Bowden cable in reverse order of removal (small arrows).
- Hook cable end securely onto lever arm.
