Valve Cover: Service and Repair

CAUTION: Part numbers are listed for reference only. Always check with your Parts department for the latest information.

- Lightly brush inside and outside edges of valve cover gaskets with silicon lubricant D 007 000 04 lightly before installation






- Carefully coat four edges on cylinder head sealing surfaces with Silimate, Part No. AMV 174 004 01, using a small screwdriver.

NOTE: Silimate must be kept out of oil opening -A-.
