Thermostat: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove ribbed drive belt.
2. Loosen toothed timing belt as required (it is not necessary to remove toothed timing belt).





3. Unbolt thermostat housing and pull out from below toothed belt.

INSTALLATION
Installation is the reverse of removal, noting the following:
Adjust tension of toothed timing belt, refer to Engine.





Installation position of thermostat.
- The vent valve must be installed facing up (arrow).
