Replacing Tilt Mechanism or Guide Plates

Tilt Mechanism and/or Guide Plates, Replacing

Note: The tilt mechanism can only be removed along with the guide plate.






- Tilt roof panel upward unclip trim and push back.

- Pull off circlips and release connecting lever for water drain plate.

- Unscrew guide plates from roof panel.

- Push roof panel up slightly at rear and detach guide plate together with tilt mechanism.


Installing:






- Fit washer and locking clip back to back (spring effect).
- Open end of locking clip faces toward front
- Note rubber ring for "rear guide" stud
- Phillips-head screws tightening torque: 4.5 Nm (40 in. lb.)

- Check front height adjustment.

- Adjust roof panel at rear.
