For Sport Steering Wheel

CAUTION!
- The wheels must be in straight-ahead position when removing the steering wheel and the airbag spiral spring.
- After removing, the airbag spiral spring must not be rotated.


- Remove airbag unit -3- and disconnect airbag harness connector.
- Where applicable (m.y. 1994 and 1995) disconnect single-pin airbag power supply harness connector.
- Loosen 3 Torx(R) screws-1- (T20).
- 5 Nm (44 in. lb)
- Loosen mounting bolts -5-.
- 5 Nm (44 in lb)





- Remove airbag unit for steering wheel; disconnect airbag spiral spring harness connector -7-.
- Remove 4 Torx(R) screws (T2O) holding airbag spiral spring -8-.
- 2.3 Nm (20 in. lb)
- Remove airbag spiral spring from back of steering wheel.
