Sealing Plug (at Transfer Tube), Replacing

NOTE: The work sequence is illustrated using a cross section view

- Moisten inside of sealing plug with brake fluid only
- Install plug





- Make sure that ho9le in plug fits over transfer tube (arrow)





- Use socket head bolt or equivalent to fit plug into position on transfer tube.

CAUTION: Do not use a pointed tool or instrument, as there is a risk of piercing the base of the sealing plug.





- When correctly installed, plug will protrude slightly from master cylinder housing.
Dimension a = approx. 1.0 mm (0.039 inch)

NOTE: When the plug protrudes by the correct amount, the offset -A- inside the housing is correct and their should be no leakage
