Removing


CAUTION!
Before working on the electrical system:
- Determine the correct coding for the anti-theft radio.
- Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap.


- Insert radio removal clips VW160 into radio as shown.





- Spread clips outward while pulling until radio slides from console.

- Disconnect:




- Ground connection -B
- Connectors -C- (2 or 3 connectors)
- Connector -D- (AM/FM antenna)


NOTE: FM antenna connector -A- is not connected.


- Remove radio.

Installing
- Remove clips VW160 from radio.
- Re-connect all radio connectors.
- Carefully insert radio into center console, being careful not to pinch or damage any wires.
- Carefully push radio in until locked in place.
Rubber bushing on back of radio must fit into recess in instrument panel.
