Auxiliary Coolant Pump

1. Start and run engine until engine coolant fan operates at high speed. Shut off the engine and wait for approximately five minutes.
2. After five minutes the radiator cooling fan should switch on (low speed). If the fan does not operate, remove the connector from the auxiliary coolant fan thermoswitch and jumper the terminals.
3. If the fan now operates replace the thermoswitch. If the fan still does not operate, check the wiring in the auxiliary cooling fan circuit.
