Strut Unit Replace

5000 MODELS

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel and tire assembly.
2. Support axle with suitable jack.
3. Remove lower shock absorber mounting bolt.
4. Remove upper strut to flange attaching nuts, then the strut.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque flange to strut attaching nuts to 15 ft.lbs. Torque lower shock absorber attaching bolt to 66 ft.lbs. with wheels resting on ground.
