Rear Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair

1. On manual transaxle models, remove transaxle, flywheel, pressure plate, clutch disc and intermediate plate.
2. On automatic transaxle models, remove transaxle, torque converter and torque converter drive plate.
3. Pry out oil seal using tool No. 2086 or equivalent.
4. Lubricate new seal, center seal in seal flange and press in using tool No. 2003/1 or equivalent until fully seated.
5. Reverse procedures in steps 1 or 2 to complete installation.
