Starter, Removing and Installing

- disconnect battery ground strap

1 - terminal 30 (wiring from battery to starter and starter to alternator) 2 - terminal 50 (to ignition/starter switch)
- detach wiring
- remove starter Mounting screws on engine/ transmission

Starter Installation

- reverse of removal procedure
- torque mounting bolts
^ specification 25 N-m (18 ft.lbs)

CAUTION

It is important that all wiring be connected with proper polarity, otherwise serious damage could occur.
