Fuel Gauge: Adjustments

Fuel gauge, adjusting




- fill 12 L (3.2 US gal.) of fuel into empty tank
- switch ignition ON

Note: Keep ignition switched ON at least 2 minutes to allow gauge needle to reach checking point

• gauge needle must be at end of reserve position, if not adjust fuel gauge




- adjust fuel gauge by turning adjusting screw (arrow)
- check "empty" and "full" position with VW 1301, if not within tolerance, check voltage supply and voltage stabilizer, otherwise replace fuel gauge
