Fig. 1 Brake Caliper Piston, Removing:

NOTE: Place a wood block in caliper to avoid damaging piston.

slide dust boot onto piston

Fig. 4 Self-adjusting Mechanism, Resetting:

press into housing through threaded hole with screwdriver

NOTE: The threaded shaft must be free to turn by hand.

Fig. 5 Piston, Installing:

lubricate piston and cylinder bore lightly with brake cylinder paste
insert lip of dust boot into groove in cylinder
turn piston to engage thread

Fig. 6 Piston. Installing:

- center tool on piston and carefully push piston in to stop

CAUTION: Lip of dust boot must slip into groove in piston.
