Outside mirror glass can be replaced without removal of entire mirror assembly from vehicle

Work sequence

Clamping Ring:

- center notches on clamping ring over slot at bottom of mirror housing
- hold mirror and turn clamping ring counterclockwise with screwdriver
- unplug electrical connections and remove mirror from housing

Fastening Pins:

- to install, press mirror to base making sure fastening pins (arrows) fit into slot on clamping ring

Note

Insure that dust cover is properly fitted on mirror assembly.

Clamp Ring Pin:

- tighten clamping ring until pin is centered over slot on mirror bottom
- check mirror for proper function
