Cold Start Advance

Injection pump lever must be against idle stop
To accomplish this:

Either slacken tension on cold start acceleration cable or bring engine to operating temperature, oil @ 70°C minimum, (158°F)

- Attach pivot lever to support using a 3.5 mm (0.138 in) pin
- Loosen adjustment screw (2) on linkage
- Adjust linkage length such that ball ends on pivot and injection pump levers can be mounted free of tension
- Tighten adjustment screw and remove pin
