Fuel Tank Unit: Service and Repair

REMOVING





- Remove covering (below carpet in luggage compartment)
- Disconnect: (A) feed line, (B) return line, (C) ventilation line
- disconnect wire (1) for fuel gauge





- loosen screw ring and pull sensor out of tank





INSTALLING
Observe Installation Position

NOTE: Electrical connector on sender must point towards drive direction (see arrow). If the sensor cannot be completely installed in the fuel tank, pull the sensor out and check that the suction filter can be moved on the suction tube.
