Keyless operation does not work (LOCK, UNLOCK, PANIC)

NOTE:

- Before troubleshooting, check the B-CAN DTCs. If any DTC is indicated, refer to the B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A Troubleshooting - B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A, and troubleshoot the indicated DTCs first.
- If the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons work OK, but the PANIC button does not, see the troubleshooting for the horn does not sound and/or the headlights do not flash when the PANIC button on the transmitter is pressed The Horn Does Not Sound and/or The Headlights Do Not Flash When The Panic Button On The Transmitter Is Pressed.

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.

2. Try to start the engine.

Does the engine start?

YES -

The immobilizer system is OK, go to step 3.

NO -

Go to the immobilizer symptom troubleshooting Immobilizer System Symptom Troubleshooting Index.

3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.

4. Do the transmitter test.

- Without keyless access system Keyless Entry Transmitter Test

- With keyless access system Keyless Access Remote Test

Is the transmitter OK?

YES -

Replace the immobilizer-keyless control unit Service and Repair.

NO -

Replace the transmitter.
