Engine does not crank

Diagnostic Procedure:

1. Check for PGM-FI DTCs. Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

2. Check for BODY DTCs. Diagnostic Aids

3. Check the PGM-FI main relays. Testing and Inspection

4. Check for symptom troubleshooting:

5. Engine does not start with the remote or with the remote in the remote slot. Symptom Troubleshooting

6. Engine does not start with the remote. Symptom Troubleshooting

7. Engine does not start with the remote in the remote slot. Symptom Troubleshooting

8. Check for loose battery terminals or connections.

9. Test the battery for a low state of charge. Testing and Inspection

10. Check the starter. Starter System Circuit Troubleshooting (With Keyless Access System)

11. Check the starter cut relay 1 and starter cut relay 2. Testing and Inspection

12. Check the brake pedal position switch. Testing and Inspection

13. Check the transmission range switch. Transmission Range Switch Test

14. Check the engine start/stop switch or wire. Testing and Inspection

Also check for:

- Poor ground at G101
