Navigation System DTC Troubleshooting: 2607
DTC 2607: XM Diag

NOTE:
- Check the vehicle battery condition first.

1. Check the most recent DTC. How to Troubleshoot the Navigation System (With Navigation)
2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode, then back to ON (II), or the ON mode.
3. Check the most recent DTC. How to Troubleshoot the Navigation System (With Navigation)
Is Hard Error 2601 indicated at the time you cycled the vehicle?
YES - Do the 2601 troubleshooting.
NO - Go to step 4.
4. Go into the Diagnostic Menu, and select the Self-Diagnosis Mode in the Select Diagnosis Items menu. Navigation System Diagnostic Mode (With Navigation)
5. Check the System Links.
Is the XM (HIP) icon red?
YES - Go to step 6.
NO - Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
6. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
7. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at these items:
- Navigation display unit 32P connector
- AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) connector A (32P) and B (2P)
Are the connections OK?
YES - Go to step 8.
NO - Repair poor connections or loose terminals.
8. Disconnect these items:
- AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) connector A (32P)
- Audio-navigation unit connector C (14P)
9. Connect the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) connector A (32P) terminals No. 30 and No. 31 with a jumper wire.
10. Check for continuity between navigation display unit 32P connector terminals No. 24 and No.25.
Is there continuity?
YES - Do the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) troubleshooting.
NO - There is an open in the wire(s) between the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) and the audio-navigation unit. Replace the affected shielded harness.
