Passenger's Airbag Cutoff Indicator Illumination Bulb Test

'06-07 models

1. Remove the upper panel.




2. Push out the passenger's airbag cutoff indicator (A) from behind the upper panel.
3. Disconnect the 1P connector (B) from the passenger's airbag cutoff indicator.
4. Check for continuity between the No. 1 and No. 6 terminals of the indicator. If there is no continuity, replace the bulbs (C).

NOTE: Both illumination bulbs are connected in parallel. If there is continuity, remove the lower hazard switch illumination bulb, and recheck for continuity. If there is no continuity, replace the passenger's airbag cutoff indicator illumination bulb.

5. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
