No display appears on the screen (LCD segments cannot be read) (without navigation)

1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. Turn the audio unit on and off several times, while listening to the sound from the speakers.

Is sound heard from the speakers, but no display appears on the screen?

YES - Go to step 3.

NO - Go to power switch will not turn on.

3. Turn the ignition switch ON (II), and switch the audio unit ON.

Can information be seen on the audio unit display?

YES - Operation is normal.

NO - Go to step 4.

4. Shine a flashlight against the audio unit display.

Can information be seen on the audio unit display?

YES - Replace the audio unit.

NO - Go to step 5.

5. Remove the audio-HVAC display module, and check the connection of audio unit connector A (20P).

Is it connected properly?

YES - Replace the audio-HVAC display panel.

NO - Reconnect the connector, and recheck the function.
