Rear Seat Belt Replacement

CAUTION: Check the rear seat belts for damage, and replace them if necessary. Be careful not to damage them during removal and installation.






Rear Seat Belt
1 Remove.
- Door sill molding
- Door trim
- Rear seat cushion and rear seat-back
- Side trim panel
- Quarter window trim
- Front seat belt upper anchor
- Quarter trim panel
- Rear shelf

Lower anchor bolt construction:

Retractor bolt construction:

Center anchor bolt construction:

2. Remove the lower anchor bolt and retractor bolt, remove the retractor mounting bolt, then remove the rear seat belt and retractor.
3. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

NOTE:
- Check that the retractor locking mechanism functions as described.
- Before installing the anchor bolt, make sure there are no twists or kinks in the rear seat belt.
