Parking Brake Warning Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove the rear console, and disconnect the connector from the switch.





2. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.

NOTE (Canada): If the parking brake switch is OK, but the brake system indicator does not function, perform the input test for the daytime running lights control unit.
