Parking Brake Warning Switch: Testing and Inspection

- Remove the rear console, and disconnect the connector from the switch.

Parking Brake Switch Location:

- Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position. Continuity should exist only with the lever in the "UP" position.

NOTE: For models equipped with Daytime Running Lamps. If parking brake switch is o.k. but the brake system indicator does not function, perform the input test for Daytime Running Lamp Control Unit.
