DTC 8-1 ABS Function

DIAGNOSTIC PERIOD
During regular diagnosis.

DESCRIPTION OF DIAGNOSIS
The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) indicator light is turned on when the ABS functions continuously.

PROBABLE CAUSE
- Wheel sensor signal disappears at speeds of 6 mph (10 km/h) or less.
- Faulty ABS control unit.

PROBABLE CAUSE WHEN SYMPTOM DOES NOT REAPPEAR
- Intermittent interruption in the wheel sensor.
- Rough road driving-(No problem).
